Problem Note 67081: The SURVEYMEANS procedure incorrectly saves quantile values as zero
Incorrect zero quantile values are saved in the ODS output Domain data set if a DOMAIN statement is specified, and a statistic-keyword from the following list is specified in the PROC SURVEYMEANS statement in addition to any other statistic-keyword:
DECILES
MEDIAN
Q1
Q3
QUARTILES
In releases earlier than SAS/STAT® 13.1 in the SAS® 9.4M1 (TS1M1) release, there is not a way to circumvent the problem, and the incorrect quantile variables must be manually deleted from the Domain data set.
Quantile computations for domains were added in SAS/STAT 13.1. Beginning with this release, the correct domain quantiles are saved in the ODS output DomainQuantiles data set, and the incorrect zero quantiles in the Domain data set can be omitted by using the PERCENTILES= or QUANTILES= option instead of the statistic-keywords for quantiles.
